Maintenance
We ask you to always contact the CHR office for any maintenance help. Our maintenance worker is busy and can’t take calls for any service to be performed until a written work order has been issued by the office.
Please be sure that vehicles, potted plants, lawn furniture, and other outdoor items are not in the way of the landscapers.
Semi-annual Inspections
Semi Annual inspections will occur throughout the year every six months from your move in date and at the time of your certification. We will mail a reminder letter two weeks prior to your inspection.
Social Security & SSI Participants
When you receive your Social Security benefit notification in the mail please bring it to the CHR office so we may make a copy. We must have a copy of this letter to process your annual re-certification.
Income Tax Return
If you are filing a tax return, please bring a copy into the office for your annual re-certification.
Report Income Changes
Please remember to report an increase or decrease in income. A 10% change in your annual income may warrant an increase or decrease in your monthly rent amount. It is important to know that failure to report an increase in income could result in repayment of any unpaid rent and/or termination of your lease.
Rent Payments
Rent is due on the 1st of each month and you have a grace period until the 5th at the close of business before a $40.00 late fee will be assessed. If the 5th is a Friday, rent is due by 4 PM. If the 5th occurs on a holiday or weekend, rent must be in our office by 7:30 AM the next business day. Please remember that there is a drop box on the outside of the office building for after-hours and weekends. Thank you for paying your rent on time.
Resident Newsletter
CHR residents have their own newsletter…the CHR Bulletin! We usually mail it to every home, but if you miss one, just CLICK HERE for the latest issue.
Give Us Feedback
Please know that we value your input. You are, after all, the reason CHR exists and we want to hear from you regularly. Any ideas you have about how we might better partner with you to make CHR work for everybody are appreciated. We would like to say thank you for all you do to make this partnership work.
CHR is trying to cut down on use of paper and would very much appreciate if you could share your e-mail address with us to be able to give you information quickly and easily. Please go to our Contact Us page to submit your information.
